Sexy Time: All Female Cult Worships Vladimir Putin
Admit it. You felt a little… squirmy the first time you saw a picture of shirtless Vladimir Putin. Maybe it didn’t lead to worship, but I bet the racy Ruskie made you at least mildly randy.
It turns out that in a Russian village just outside of Moscow, a small group has begun actually worshiping him, in a manner of speaking.
They believe that Vladimir Putin is the reincarnation of the Apostle Paul, and that his ultimate goal will be to spread the Gospel, and reunite the Christian Church (Russian Orthodox Style).
According to a report by diflucan tinea versicolor in The Telegraph, the leader of the group calls herself Mother Fotina. The all female sect dress as nuns and have erected altars that feature photos of Putin alongside icons used regularly in Russian Orthodox worship. They sit in front of these little shrines and pay tribute to the rugged Russian while praying for his success.
They also sing traditional Soviet patriotic music at services, rather than the usual hymns.
“According to the Bible, Paul the Apostle was a military commander at first and an evil persecutor of Christians before he started spreading the Christian gospel,” Mother Fotina tells The Telegraph.
“In his days in the KGB, Putin also did some rather unrighteous things. But once he became president, he was imbued with the Holy Spirit, and just like the apostle, he started wisely leading his flock. It is hard for him now but he is fulfilling his heroic deed as an apostle.”
So how does Putin feel about being worshiped in such a manner? According to his spokesman, he was “bemused”.
