Woman Screams “God You’re My Savior” During Plane Outburst

A distraught Woman Screams “God you’re my savior” repeatedly on a flight to Tampa, Florida, scaring fellow passengers.

Fellow passenger Reed Stanley captured the frightening scene on video and added his commentary, giving the scenario a bit of context.  “She’s been freaking out for the last 20 minutes. She started off by telling everyone to pray for her mother who just passed away.  She went up and down the aisles telling everyone to just pray for her mother, and then she’s been like this for the last 15-20 minutes,” he says over her frantic cries.

What actually caused the woman to panic in such a startling manner remains a mystery.  Some have theorized that the woman saw something that frightened her.  Some say she may have been having a panic attack due to the grief of losing her mother.  I do find it odd that she’s gripping a magazine and cell phone, as though she had been in the middle of reading before her breakdown.

What is particularly puzzling is why we do not see any of the flight crew in this scene. We hear Jason say that he was asked to block her from opening the doors, and he also tells us that she has been doing this for 20 minutes prior to his recording.  The whole thing is really bizarre.

One has to wonder whether this was merely an emotional breakdown, or if something more was happening.  I do hope she is now ok.
