Created by the combination of misty waterfalls and bright moonlight, these magnificent light shows invoke a feeling of being transported to another world. Moonbows are best viewed during the full moon when the lunar light is at its pinnacle, and a backdrop of the Milky Way adds a touch of whimsy.
Thankfully, for those of us unable to travel to Yosemite, a video has been uploaded displaying this wonder of the natural world. Take a moment to soak in some moonglow as you marvel at the moonbow.
Description: From the Milky Way to the moon, the beauty of Yosemite is on display 24 hours a day. During the full moon of the the spring and early summer, lunar rainbows, also known as moonbows, can be seen on many park waterfalls.
