Huge Goldfish Caught in France

Safe to say that no fishbowl will hold this humdinger!

In a lake in the south of France, Raphael Biagini captured what is believed to be the largest koi fish ever recorded in the wild.  Local fisherman told tales of a giant goldfish that they’d been after for about 6 years.  Raphael put naysayers to rest by reeling in the whopper.

Weighing in at 30 lbs, the koi (carp) is brilliant in its orange hue and made for a dazzling photo-op, before Mr. Biagini released his catch back into the water.

As always, the internet is buzzing with talk that the image has to be a Photoshop job, but so far the image seems to be authentic.
