First Crop Circle of the Year Appears in Wiltshire Field
Silbury Hill, Wiltshire is part of the Stonehenge, Avebury and Associated Sites UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is just near here that many crop circles have appeared in the past, and the first of the 2011 season has just been discovered.
The area is considered by many to be sacred ground, and by all to be mysterious. It is the tallest prehistoric man-made mound in Europe, and has been host to much unexplained phenomena.
Crop circle expert Lucy Pringle tells the Daily Mail that this floral pattern is completely unique by crop circle standards. “The latest circle is a floral pattern, I’ve never seen this before. There’s never been one identical to another.”
