Dianne Reidy Speaks About Her Congressional Outburst
Five months ago, the nation was momentarily captivated by a strange event that occurred on the floor of the House of Representatives. During a critical vote to raise the debt ceiling, House stenographer Dianne Reidy abandoned her normal post, approached the dais, and proceeded to deliver what she later referred to as a message directly from God. Reidy was quickly escorted off of the House floor. Contrary to what is widely reported, there is no known audio of what she said on the dais, but the audio of her continued outburst was captured in the hallway as she was being swept into an elevator. It is this audio that was replayed again and again in the media. And as quickly as it stirred up a frenzy, the story seemed to be dropped from rotation and faded into obscurity. While, Dianne’s husband Dan had given a few interviews regarding the incident, in a new video released on March 15, Dianne Reidy Speaks About Her Congressional Outburst.
The basic content of Dianne’s outburst was as follows:
“He will not be mocked. The greatest deception here is that this is not one nation under God. It never was. It would not have been. The Constitution would not have been written by Freemasons. They go against God. You cannot serve two masters. You cannot serve two masters. Praise be to God, Lord Jesus Christ.”
In the wake of the outburst, many in the Christian community were quick to proclaim that Dianne Reidy was a prophet or had delivered a prophetic word from God. In what was regarded a controversial article, I covered the story here on Extraordinary Intelligence. My aim with the article was not to downplay the seriousness of what was said on the House floor, but was a call of people to take a step back and examine the circumstances in detail before making proclamations about Dianne Reidy’s motives, emotional state, or whether or not she was truly delivering a word directly from God Almighty. Full article below:
While many shared my concerns, others were angry with me for taking a critical view of the event. Never did I deny that Dianne’s story of a prophetic word could be true, I simply asked that people not jump to conclusions.
Now, Dianne Reidy is explaining in her own words (along with her husband Dan who takes the lead) on You Tube about her experience on that day and events leading up to that day. In the video, Dan begins by setting the stage with scripture about prophecy. Then Dianne discusses previous events in her life in which she’s delivered a prophetic word from God. This takes up the bulk of the video. Then in the last portion, Dianne discusses the events of that day in October.
One thing I was pleased with is that at the very beginning, the issue of where the actual audio was captured is addressed. Beyond that, I’m going to reserve comment for the time being and ask that you watch the video and share your thoughts below. Let’s have a discussion about it.
