“If we do not act in concert with each other and ensure that the future becomes what we need it to be, then we will surely deserve whatever fate awaits us.” William Cooper ~ August 3, 1990, Camp Verde, Arizona
My biography of Bill Cooper will be brief, because I am including a full documentary about his life below. Suffice to say, Cooper was an author, short wave radio host, lecturer, and celebrity in the worlds of Ufology, Secret Societies, and Conspiracy.
He claimed that {more. . .)

The Demonic Nuns of Loudun

In 1617, a handsome, wealthy, and well educated Priest named Urbain Grandier was appointed to become the parish priest of St-Pierre-du-Marche in Loudun, a town in Poitiers, France. He soon became notorious about the town as a ladies man, having affairs with several affluent young women, and perhaps even siring a child. He eventually wrote a paper decrying the mandated celibacy of the clergy.
As one would expect, the Ursuline nuns of the local convent were dismayed by their priest’s activities and philosophy. Many of {more. . .)

In a recent ruling, the City of Minneapolis has decided to pay $165,000 to Zombies.
The payout was approved by the Minneapolis City Council after a Federal Lawsuit was filed by seven people who were arrested and jailed in 2006 for wandering the downtown shopping district dressed as zombies, in protest of “mindless” consumerism.
“Zombie Crawls” are gaining popularity not only in the U.S., but worldwide. The following is an article about this zombified phenomenon: International Zombie Day

At the turn of the Century, the eccentric Otto family took up residence in the famous Artist’s House Compound in Key West, Florida. Mr. and Mrs. Otto had a son named Robert Eugene Otto, or “Gene”, as he was called. The elder Ottos were known to be very stern people, and rumor has it, they were harsh with their servants.

I think it’s about time for something light-hearted here on E.I., don’t you?
Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on the surface is not much different than any other late night talk show. But what sets Fallon apart, in my opinion, is the type of humor he uses. I find that Fallon doesn’t shy away super nerdy references, and this is what endears him to me. From math jokes to grammar gags, Fallon’s sense of dweeby humor is a breath of fresh air. The Federal Bureau of Investigation isn’t too keen on websites posting their official seal as an image. So protective are they of their insignia, that they’ve officially threatened legal action against Wikipedia.
Wikipedia, the titan of online encyclopedias, has a high resolution picture of the official seal prominently featured on its FBI info page, and according to the New York Times, the Bureau’s deputy general counsel sent a letter to the Wiki people, demanding its removal, “because it facilitates both deliberate {more. . .)

Aspartame: A Sweet and Deadly Tale

I love aspartame. I consume mass quantities of it on a daily basis. I crave aspartame. I am a junkie. My thirst for aspartame has made it possible for manufacturers of the sweet substance to justify their supply. I am an aspartame pusher by proxy. I am seduced by its zero calorie decadence, and its convenient availability. I love aspartame, but it does not love me.

Five Great Dystopian Films

In general, most films released by Tinseltown are meant to pacify the masses… keep us in a state of calm submission, and perhaps even steer the populace toward certain ends predetermined by movie studios, governments, big business, or a combination of all of these. Propaganda in the movie industry is nothing new.
With that said, sometimes a studio will bravely release a film with a deeper message. One that terrifies with its brutal reality and prophetic warning… and perhaps inspires us to recognize the world {more. . .)

Popular culture has programmed most of us to think of one thing when we imagine alien encounters. Generally, we imagine the classic “Grey” type of alien. Grey or white skin, triangular head, large black eyes, a tiny mouth, and spindly body. These are the aliens of “Close Encounters of the Third Kind”, “Fire in the Sky”, “Communion”, and the recent “The Fourth Kind”.

Extraordinary Videos: MKULTRA and Mind Control

Project MK-ULTRA, or MKULTRA, was the code name for a covert CIA mind-control and chemical interrogation research program, run by the Office of Scientific Intelligence. The project was an official undertaking by the U.S. Government, and began tests in the 1950s. Citizens of both the United States and Canada were subjected to these horrific tests.
Officially, these tests ended in the 1960s, although many people claim that this covert warfare on the human mind continues to this day. Government documentation is limited. In 1973, {more. . .)

With the History Channel’s repeated exploration of the topic, a groundswell of fascination has been buzzing through the air.

Jesus Statue Struck by Lightning

Surely there is no clearer sign that something is amiss than when the ginormous statue of Jesus Christ at the Solid Rock Church has been smote. Smited? Smitten? Anyway, its gone.
The six story (62 ft) statue in Monroe, Ohio was struck by lightning on Monday, igniting a huge fire, and eventually leaving nothing behind but the charred metal skeletal remains of what was once affectionately named “Touchdown Jesus”; so nicknamed because of the giant arms of the statue reaching skyward.
Here are some before {more. . .)
