I’m just gonna be blunt with this but in the recent Monsterquest: American werewolf 2; the guy who “supposably” found the Gable Film is actually a fake. Yes, he admitted it that the film was a hoax and showed how he made the film.
If any of you guys don’t believe me, go check out the episode…
I was fairly disappointed

Well, the way the film is tailored definately delivers its intended impact. It certainly does look like a humanoid form as it starts to move. As I was watching it the first time I most certainly noticed something “shimmer” across its shape. I watched it in slow motion myself without realizing thats what they were to show. For a fraction of a second it almost looks like the the space around the edges of its form moves like vapor in a direction. I dunno. I felt ill after watching it so yeah the effect is definately there and that can be used to elicit the desired impact of the proported cameraman/coverup/hoax/truth/truth mixed with lies/OMG/WTF mentality.

I am from Michigan and I find this an interesting prospect. I tend to believe that there is some magic, some unexplained things still unexplained. The problem is there is so many hoaxes, so many fakes done that it leads people to view these accounts as ficticious and frauds. 97% of crop circles have been determined to be hoaxes or posible hoaxes, that still leaves 3% that defies explanation. The chubacabra, I am sure I spelled it wrong, has lead to a discovery of a mutated bread of canine. They have DNA samples, vocal recordings, hair and blood samples of an unkown bread of ape persumably yeti evean though more reports than not have been false. Even the footage here has been unmasked as a hoax, I saw an interview with the people involved, but that doesn’t mean there is nothing here to unravel. we tend to be arogant in our thinking to dismiss things soley based on what we know now. Gorilas was folktales until they were catolged by the”right people” even though primatives knew of their existance. ancient civilzations which had superior knowledge to our ownwas considered primative, because certian agenda motivated people wanted to believe we evoloved, not lost what we had. It all comes down to what you want to believ, and then you should ask why. If there or are not some things uneplained steaped in more legand than fact, but still unexplained, it comes down to what we want to takke from this, just keep an open mind.

The Dogman is real, Gable film a confirmed hoax, and yes the Dogman is more Bear Like with Wolf features and is shy and avoids humans most of the time. But much like a bear or wolf it’s mood is unpredictable and can change in a flash. In other words leave him alone and he won’t bother you or bother him and well that is something you may not live to tell…Either way I’m a fan of the dogman and have an affection for him.

been doing a lot of research lately and the one thing that is bothering me more than anything or should i say worrying, is the fact that as a human race we believe the the paranormal and un explained lurk in the dark corners in the middle of the night, how ever i cant believe that somebady has not spotted that of the evidence accross the web a hell of alot of it is documented or shot during day light hours. if even one of the thousands of images is real out there then that meens there is no sanctuary in the day light. now thats a scary thought.

my name is nick i live in Massachusetts. i have never spotted the beast yet but there have been some weird things going on around my house i live in the woods and im scared to go outside and smoke a cigarette by myself at night. across from my house is protected land but not very deep but behind my house is woods for miles and we own alot of it. i always carry a flashlight at night when i go outside so i can check the edge of the woods every few minutes for glowing eyes. a few encounters i have had left me pretty shaken although i have not seen what it is yet but i have heard it a couple of times and it sounds like nothing i have ever heard before in my life. the sound of its howl will chill you to the bone and make you feel uneasy being outside. now i have heard coyotes and i know what they sound like they are nothing new to me i hear them all the time and usually when one howls at night they all do and its a yipping high pitch noise. but there has been an unusual howling that i have been hearing recently and nothing howls with it or back at it and everything gets quiet it is a gut wrenching terrifing sound that i cannot explain and no animal in the state of Massachusetts that can mimic or recreate the sound that i hear. earlier today i was outside smoking a cigarette in the morning in the middle of daylight and i hear like a howl or a grunt or something! i dont know but it was deep and mean i almost thought it may have been a moose or something so i came inside and got on youtube right away so i can type in any animal sounds i could think that it might have been or that exist in mass. but the problem was it wasn’t a moose it wasn’t a bear or a deer let alone a coyote which i knew right off the bat it was not i cant explain what it was. i wanna maybe set some things around my house to maybe capture a picture or maybe some sound but the problem is i really dont have the money right now and i truly am afraid to be out by myself cause i believe that it could be a werewolf because of the noises everyone thinks im just crazy and have an over active imagination and im scaring myself wen im outside but i am a country boy i love camping and always go camping and i used to camp behind my house but i will not and refuse to camp or go out back by myself anymore after hearing what i heard. i hoping maybe you will beleive me or mabe invistigate with me i will keep you posted if anything new happens thank you.

it is a fake you can look it up on youtube the guy that made the film explains how he made the video he was in a gillie suit and he used an old 60 camera to get the effect all the vehicles in his video are his and there is acually a part 2 to the film look it up on youtube it was just a hoax

I believe what was seen in the video footage is something of the ape kind. Possibly a rare ape like creature that has managed to stay undetected to this day.

OK, that’s fair enough if the picture is just supposed to resemble the Dogman. However in my opinion the picture is a tree stump or rock outcropping, nothing more. Unfortunately the photo was taken in 2005 so if it was a tree stump it’s probably not there anymore but perhaps there are remnants of it. Time permitting, I’ll go visit the location which is not far from here and see for myself. If there’s no trace of a tree or rock outcropping as depicted in the picture then I’ll reconsider my opinion.

Russ, thanks for the link! I will shortly add it to the article for clarity. Currently, my descriptor for the photo simply says, “An eyewitness snapped this photo, which they claim shows a beast resembling a Dogman similar to the Beast of Bray Road.” At the link you shared, it refers to this creature as a dogman or dog like creature. My intent was not to say that this was a photo of THE Michigan Dogman, but just that this is possible photo evidence of a Dogman-esque creature.
