From the Extraordinary Mailbag: Comments and Feedback

One of the most interesting parts of my adventure with this blog has been the feedback from my readers. Thank you so much for all of your support! I thought it would be fun to share a few of the comments I’ve received along the way, as well as a few of the stranger things that have happened since this blog took off. Now, keep in mind, Extraordinary Intelligence has only been in existence since about March of this year, so I’d say we are off to a smashing start, wouldn’t you? Beware! I’ve got my own horn in hand, and I’m prepared to toot it!
First of all, I thought I’d really hit the big time when E.I. was featured on Coast to Coast Am w/ George Noory. Not only was a link to our site visible on the front page of this massively popular web site for over a week, but we were also mentioned on the radio! Woohoo! But then I found this… E.I. shout out on Craigslist??? Heck yeah it is! Someone featured the Extraordinary Thursday video post about Chemtrails in a Craigslist rant. Here’s a link:
http://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/rnr/1241972511.html
Now make sure you go and give that author some love! And if you missed the Chemtrail post, you’ll find the link in his ad! Now we’re talking! Thanks to the anonymous poster from Boston for the shout out, and I think I speak for everyone when I say that I hope you start to feel better. Perhaps some readers can offer advice on how this person can get some relief? If so, go ahead to Craigslist and help him out!
My next bit of feedback comes from Mario in Texas. Here’s a portion of his email:
I always knew that there was more to this world than meets the eye.
Thanks to your web site, I now have a window into all of the things that I have been wondering about.
Isn’t that nice? Thanks Mario! I hope to continue to bring all of the wonderful, strange, and mysterious into the light of day!
From Ed in Phoenix:
My girlfriend and me are always laughing like crazy when we read your
weekly news. You are a funny chick. Never fails to make us roar with laughter andwe
forward it to our friends. That one about people eating neanderthals was priceless
girl. When you said in your most recent one that thing about the australian guy who
injected botox and can walk again but can’t wipe the shock off his face my girl just
lost it.
Ed, that is very sweet. I’ve been called a funny chick before, but usually the word funny is followed by looking. Heehee! Ed also had this to say about one of the featured blogs we highlighted in this post: Magic, Nightmares, and Vampires: Extraordinary Blogs
…I also wanted to thank you for pointing out that bad ass horror site. That
dude is sick. But he is also a really gifted writer. I have never read reviews that
are as detailed as his….I think hes one of those dudes you want to just
have a beer with and talk about blood and guts. Good stuff so thanks for the heads
up on that one.
Well said, Ed! I concur.
It isn’t all roses and sunshine around here. After all, I do write about a bit of subject matter that some may consider controversial, and people have very strong opinions. Which is good! I’m never offended by honest criticism. Here’s a bit of the ribbing that I’ve received for some of my chosen topics:
From Gina in Dublin in reference to the post: Meet the Demons: Demystifying Demonology:
…I wanted to tell you that I was quite shocked by your choice to name demons
on your blog. This is unacceptable. Had I known that you intended to go into
as much detail as that, I certainly would never have opened the page. To name the demonic
is to invite them into your home. I really hope that you will reconsider any future posts of this nature.
Eva in Rhode Island was one of the many who did not care for this post: Paranormal seduction: Lurid encounters with spirits
I have been a victim of an incubus attack, and it is not something to make fun of. I will freely tell you that I have had
many moments of enjoyment with my shadow visitor, but it has also caused me a great deal of torment. I like your
writing and your information was informative but I could have done without the part where you said But what do
you do when the things that go bump in the night have a little more on their mind than flickering lights and
footsteps in the hall? I thought this was unnecessarily flippant.
I apologize Eva that you took offense at my choice of words. I meant no disrespect to those who’ve suffered from this type of encounter.
I’ve had a fair amount of people who love the color scheme of the site, but feel that the color of the text is a little difficult to read. Please let me know if this is the case. If I receive a few more comments about it, I’ll have it changed.
Finally, I want to share this last email from a reader in Singapore. His name is Alvin. I gotta say, his words got me a little choked up. This is his message:
In Singapore we have many peoples and many views. Our beliefs are wide and religious views are many fold. Your
web site is for everyone and I send you my praise from a Buddhist blessing.
By the power of every moment of your goodness
May your heart’s wishes be soon fulfilled
as completely shining as the bright full moon,
as magically as by a wish-fulfilling gem.
By the power of every moment of your goodness
May all dangers be averted and all disease be gone.
May no obstacle come across your way.
May you enjoy fulfillment and long life.
All of these emails, the complimentary and the critical have been greatly appreciated. I love to receive feedback, because it means that I am either striking a chord or hitting a nerve, and either one suits me, as long as people are thinking and wondering and investigating this magical world of ours. Keep that feedback coming! I realized that I forgot to update my email address on a few parts of this site. This is the address where you can reach me, Natalina, the Extraordinary host of Extraordinary Intelligence!
Natalina@extraordinaryintelligence.com
I apologize for the weird formatting on some of the comments. I was just cutting and pasting from the various emails, and I don’t know how to fix it. It’s all a learning process, right? Right! Also, everyone who was quoted in this post gave me the go ahead. I’ll never print your correspondence with Extraordinary Intelligence unless you tell me it’s a-ok, ok?
Special thanks also to the Twittery Tweeters that follow Extraordinary Intelligence on Twitter… Your feedback has been invaluable! Are YOU following E.I.??? Why not?!?!?!

And a final thank you to all of you who have added an Extraordinary Intelligence banner or avatar to your Myspace, Facebook and blogs. You rule! Since I have received a number of requests, I’ve got E.I. Myspace and Facebook sites in the works, so you can link up with us! You can see all of my fine Banners and Widgets here:
