Exorcism at the Grammys: Bizarre Nicki Minaj Performance

When Nicki Minaj walked the red carpet at the 2012 Grammys, it was clear that hers would be a performance to remember. Dressed in a nun’s habit designed by Versace and accompanied by the Pope, Minaj created buzz before the show even began. But she wasn’t done.
Just before she took the stage, it was announced that her performance would be one that everyone would be talking about. Clearly the controversy that was to follow the act was anticipated by Grammy producers. And if shock value is what they hoped Minaj would deliver, I’m sure they weren’t disappointed.
The performance began with Minaj “confessing” to a priest. The song she sang was called “Roman Holiday”, and the entire act was meant to be an exorcism of her alter ego, Roman Zolanski. After her bizarro confession, Nicki reappeared strapped to a table while monks and priests danced around her. As the act reached a frenzy, a choir sang a haunting and disturbing rendition of the hymn “Come All Ye Faithful”, while Ms. Minaj began to levitate amid smoke and flames.

I don’t even know what to say about the performance. I watched in awe as a pretty evil looking scene unfolded on the Grammy stage. Watch the entire performance below, and let me know your thoughts. @sipete What part is rubbish? Nicki Minaj’s performance or my posting of it? I pretty much just described exactly what she did in the performance and included photos and videos. What part is misguided? I’m not following you.
Meh, I don’t know anymore it just seems like there trying to see who can do the most outlandish thing and call it entertainment. Guess it just wasn’t my cup of tea.

The heavy use of satanic symbolism and sacrilegious rituals right out of Bohemian Grove permeates the Grammy awards, but this year there was a sacrificial death.
This may seem farfetched, but when you open your eyes, you have to ask, why did music industry steer culture in the way it has? why did they support who they supported and display who they display.

But this blatant display right after the Super Bowl show display, is no accident. Just as Ms. Houston’s death, which seemed precisely timed to “enhance” viewership of this event and btw

Oddly enough, when I logged in to update the article with pictures from Nicky Minaj’s satanic ritual at the Grammys, and the suggestions that Whitney Houston’s death was timed very opportunely, it happened again.
Right after I’d arranged all the pictures and text and logged in to update the article, the hit counter was at exactly 95559.
To me, this is yet another signal that all is well.
