The Sun is reporting that a government-employed engineer filmed what appears to be the prehistoric woolly mammoth last summer in the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug region of Siberia.
According to the Sun article:
Paranormal writer Michael Cohen said: “Rumours of a handful of mammoths still kicking around in the vast wilderness of Siberia have been circulating for decades and occasionally sightings by locals have occurred.
“Siberia is an enormous territory and much of it remains completely unexplored and untouched by humans. ”
Woolly mammoths roamed the Earth 10,000 years ago during the last Ice Age.
A small pocket remained on and around Wrangel Island, off the coast of Siberia, and these did not die out until 3,500 years ago.
Mr Cohen, 41, added: “It is highly possible that a number of species, extinct elsewhere, survive in the area.
“If surviving woolly mammoths were found in Siberia, it could run against Russia’s plans to further develop and exploit the area’s considerable resources.
“It would be potentially one of the greatest discoveries ever.”
There’s lots of speculation as to what is being depicted in the above video, but when I look very closely, I am convinced that it is a large bear carrying a fish in its mouth. What do you think?

Large bear with fish – the bear is obvious and you can clearly see the silver of the fish. Mammoth ears were much larger than that as well I thought.
Look again.
It’s a bear with a fish in its mouth.
You guys both are on the same page as me. I said it looks like a bear with a fish, too. You can clearly see where the brown of the bear’s snout ends and the fish begins. Oh well.
it’s from “The Sun”…no one should believe anything from that ridiculous tabloid.
some body needs stay of drugs..while filming..its a Bear.haha
I’m afraid I’m with the bear opinion unless this is an example of the hitherto unknown fish-eating woolly mammoth. Good for a laugh or frustrated weeping. depending on your viewpoint. Perhaps it should have been on page 3 of The Sun. where other ambiguous phenomena often appear.
Unless the Wooly Mammoth has evolved with their dangling trunks having become fish-like, I have t’go with the bear ident as well…
Bear with fish…
Fish. Tusks do not swing.

I didn’t know Mammoths liked fish? Who knew. Learn something new everyday and go to be smarter! Concur Bear eating salmon.
