I’ve wanted to visit this mansion since I first heard of the place a long time ago. I’ve always been interested in weird and interesting old houses. I hope to visit one of these days.

So in the museum all those boarded up places have been reopened right? and when the earthquake happened I’m guessing we permanently lost sections of the mansion…but not the entire top 3 floors? – This Place seems super interesting.

I was just there yesterday (7/12/09), I took alot of pictures, lots of orbs. Also I had just changed my digital camera battery, which was fully charged, (the battery icon on the camera showed it to be fully charged), I took one or two pictures and looked again and it darn near drained my battery to half?! I was astonished for obvious reasons.

I have the good fortune of being a san Jose native, and have seen toured the whinchester mansion twice. It truly is a marvel, and exudes paranormal energy.

Interesting.

I didn’t know about this story. Creepy…a house with dead ends?
Though I liked a few ideas like a door leading to nowhere and a few others.
